WhatsApp bots and automation

Bots that take orders, bookings and payments inside WhatsApp, and alerts that reach people where they already read.

In Kerala, a customer's first instinct is to WhatsApp the shop. We build on that instead of fighting it. bcart, our own WhatsApp ordering platform, reads a shopping list typed in Malayalam, Manglish or English, or sent as a voice note, prices it against the shop's catalogue, takes payment and puts the order on the owner's phone. The same engineering is available for your business.

What we build

WhatsApp ordering and booking bots, catalogues and payment inside the chat, broadcast and offer campaigns, hand-off to a person when the bot should step aside, and transactional alerts such as approvals, reminders and payment-due notices sent from the systems you already run. We build directly on Meta's WhatsApp Cloud API, so there is no reseller between you and WhatsApp, and every template, opt-in and limit follows Meta's rules.

Language is the hard part

A bot that only understands tidy English is not much use in Kerala. bcart reads Malayalam, Manglish and English, quantity words like oru, randu and ara, pack sizes inside product names, and voice notes, and it asks back when something is ambiguous instead of guessing. That is the standard we bring to every WhatsApp project.

Connected to how you already work

A bot is only useful if the order or request lands where a person acts on it. We connect WhatsApp to dashboards, ERP and POS systems, booking boards and payment gateways, and to internal tools: ProjektOS, the project system Bytekat runs on, sends its leave approvals, overdue alerts and payment reminders over WhatsApp.

Questions we actually get.

Do you use the official WhatsApp Business API?
Yes. We build on Meta's WhatsApp Cloud API directly, with your business's verified number, approved message templates and customer opt-in. No unofficial libraries, and no reseller lock-in.
Can a WhatsApp bot understand Malayalam?
Yes. bcart reads Malayalam, Manglish and English, including voice notes, and the same approach carries over to the bots we build for clients.
What does it cost to run a WhatsApp bot?
Two parts: our build, scoped to what the bot has to do, and Meta's own charges for WhatsApp conversations, which depend on the message type and country. Meta bills your business account directly.
Can customers pay inside the chat?
Yes, where the business is set up for it. bcart collects payment inside the conversation, and custom bots can use the same flow with your payment gateway.
How long does a WhatsApp bot take to go live?
A focused bot on an existing catalogue can go live in a few weeks. Much of the calendar time is Meta's business verification and template approval, which we handle with you.
